Do you know this? A project so important and you never start? Watching this little video I have realized that I can be pretty hard on myself. I only allow myself to start if I have a plan figured out all though to the end – a success-guarantee so to speak.
This has quite an impact on daily life: those moments of doubt and discouragement, of pushing the project to “later until I have a great plan” and anxiety, because what really matters to you does not get addressed. And it’s so much easier to clean up the e-mail inbox or your drawers than starting that huge important project in your life, right?
I am grateful, because for that one important project that made me be a coach I was helped by others, by life, by my coaching schools and my perseverance to make one step after the other. And I can see that same in my clients when we move from those current ways of thinking and acting to new beliefs and actions, step by step, practice by practice.
How about you?
As a practice, note the three things you want to move along in your life and that matter most to you. Then reflect: at which step are you right now? What does it take to make the next step? Who or what can support you in making this move?
